Podcast Guest Instructions: What to Expect

Thank you for joining us as a guest on Thriving Therapist Talk: Business and Marketing Tips for Therapists. We’re excited to have you on the show and want to ensure you feel prepared and comfortable. Here’s what to expect before, during, and after our recording session:

Before the Interview

✔ Scheduling – You’ll receive a calendar invite with the date and time. You’ll also receive a reminder 24 hours before with the recording link. 

✔ Tech Setup – We recommend using a high-quality microphone (not your laptop or desktop computer’s built-in microphone) to ensure clear audio. Recording will take place via Riverside.fm.

✔ Pre-Interview Notes – We’ll send you a brief outline of potential questions and topics so you can prepare. No need to script answers. Nadene provides a relaxed conversational atmosphere so you can talk about your expertise and be yourself.

✔ No need to prepare lighting, make-up and hair for video– While we conduct the interview over video for the flow of conversation, we will only use audio recording for the podcast. We do not make reels or upload video to Youtube. Nadene will be casually attired and wearing comfortable clothes during the recording.

During the Interview

✔ Recording Format – The recorded component of the session will be relaxed and conversational in nature, lasting approximately 30 minutes.  Please allow 45 mins in your calender.

✔ Introductions – We’ll start with a warm-up to ease into the discussion, followed by a formal introduction.

✔ Main Discussion – You’ll share insights about your expertise, with a mix of structured questions and organic conversation.

✔ Engagement Tips – Feel free to speak naturally, share personal stories, and enjoy the process.

After the Interview

✔ Editing & Production – We’ll edit the episode for clarity and quality. If there are any sections you’d prefer to omit, let us know.

✔ Promotional Materials – Once the episode is live, we’ll provide shareable links and graphics for your network.

✔ Follow-Up – We appreciate your time and will keep you posted on the release date and audience feedback.
