Sell More, Stress Less: Online Offer Tips for Therapists

One of the common struggles for therapists who want to develop additional income streams is confusion about what to offer.

No one wants to create an offer that doesn’t sell.

Here’s what worked for me.

I thought about what I liked as well as what I didn’t like about other trainings.

For example, I prefer shorter to the point trainings that give you solutions.

I don’t like 16 hour plus trainings that drop weekly.

I love being able to buy something online instantly to meet a training need.

I find it frustrating to have to wait months for the live date.

I prefer trainings that deliver what they tell you they will deliver.

I don’t like trainings that are catering to people who haven’t done basic therapy skills training and so they cover attachment theory and other things instead of teaching you what they promised.

This has led to me creating instantly accessible offers that don’t take a lot of time to complete, don’t cater to beginners and don’t have filler content.

My online buyers see less as more and don’t want a 16 hour training either.

But this doesn’t mean you should do it this way because:

There are definitely people who want longer trainings and see the value in that.

There are definitely people who need grounding in the basics and will buy that.

Similarly, some people love belonging to a membership and other’s don’t have a need for community.

I’ve only liked belonging to memberships when the coach or facilitator is active in the space and provides connection. Some people are happy with peer contact only.
